Anti-fungal Treatment For Athlete’s Foot
Effective 1 Week Treatment
Terbinafine is used to treat fungal infections of the skin.
These infections can be caused by types of fungi called dermatophytes (tinea), also known as ringworm.
Tinea of the feet is commonly known as athlete’s foot.
Terbinafine, the active ingredient in Athlete’s foot cream works by killing dermatophytes.
Active Ingredients:
Terbinafine hydrochloride 1% w/w
Directions:
Athlete’s foot cream is typically once or twice daily for one week.
1) Clean and thoroughly dry the affected areas on your skin.
2) Apply the cream to the affected skin and a small area around it in a thin layer. Rub in gently.
3) After applying in the cream, the affected area may be covered with gauze. This is particularly useful at bedtime.
Important - Continue using the cream for one week, even if the signs of infection may disappear. If Athlete’s foot cream is used for only a few days, some fungal spores may remain, causing the infection to return. See your doctor if there is no improvement in your condition after the recommended period.
Cautions: For External Use Only.Do not use the cream after the expiry date shown on the pack. Avoid contact with eyes. Not recommended for use on children.Do not use this product if you are pregnant, may become pregnant or if you are breast-feeding. Consult your pharmacist if you experience redness, itchiness or a stinging sensation where Athlete’s foot cream is applied, you may be allergic to the product.Keep out of reach of children.Store below 25°C
