Habitrol patches can help you to stop smoking with a step down program that reduces your nicotine intake gradually.
Active Ingredients:
Nicotine 14mg/24 hours
Each patch contains Nicotine 14mg
Directions:
Apply one patch at the same time every day.
Press patch firmly onto clean, dry, non-hairy skin, holding it in place for 20 seconds.
Do not re-apply to previously used skin for 3 days.
Combination Therapy:
If you have relapsed in the past or you experience cravings whilst using Habitrol Patch, Gum or Lozenge on its own, you can combine the use of Habitrol Patch with Habitrol Gum 2mg or Habitrol Patch with Habitrol Lozenge 1mg.
Cautions:
Do not use if:
-you are under 12 years of age
-you are a non-smoker or an occasional smoker
-you have a generalised skin disorder that may complicate patch therapy (eg. generalised psoriasis or chronic dermatitis)
-you have an allergy to nicotine or any component of the patch
-the sachet seal is broken
Do not use unless a doctor has told you to if:
-you have had a recent heart attack or stroke
-you have angina (chest pain) that is not well controlled or getting worse
-you have severe arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat)
-you have uncontrolled high blood pressure.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if:
-you are under 18 years of age
-you are pregnant or breastfeeding
-you have severe high blood pressure
-you have heart or blood vessel disease
-you have a stomach ulcer, kidney or liver disease
-you have diabetes
